One of the first people he meets is Nichol Bunin, the local librarian. Nichol has lived in Galesburg her whole life and feels she can help Landon find the truth. In the midst of the investigation the two of them fall in love and solve a mystery that had plagued Galesburg for over twenty years.
Landon is an investigative reporter from Washington D.C. He is very tenacious when chasing a story. He never quits until all the pieces fit together to reveal the complete picture. Nichol is a librarian in the small town of Galesburg. She’s intelligent, sensitive, and hates to see any injustice in the world.
COLD CASE COVER-UP is an intriguing thriller involving two mysteries. A suspicious car accident and a missing young woman. Both incidents happens within two weeks of each other in Galesburg, Delaware. When skeletal remains are found someone in that small town is scared and does everything they can to keep the truth from coming to light, including committing another murder. The author did an excellent job as usual with this story. I’ve come to expect nothing less. I love the small town setting with all its secrets which slowly unravel in this page-turner. The pacing is good and the characters are true to form. I especially like the Knitting Nanas, a group who get together once a week. They add a humorous element to the story especially since they do more gossiping than knitting.
COLD CASE COVER-UP is a heart pounding mystery just waiting for its secrets to be revealed. It also includes a slow-burn romance sure to keep things interesting.
