Review: Blaze

REVIEW: Blaze Carter left Sheraton Beach and the only woman he has ever loved, Joanna Bennett, chasing dreams of a better life offering more than his hometown. Being one of the winners of the Bachelors of Sheraton Beach auction has brought him back into Johanna’s life, courtesy of her friends. Johanna still loves Blaze even with all the years he has been gone. However, while she understands why her left, she can’t forget that he left as if she didn’t mean anything to him. The love still exists but so does the pain. Blaze pulls out all the stops to prove to Johanna that he never stopped loving her, but that doesn’t calm the fears that she may not be enough to make him stay this time.

Blaze has been a fireman at Sheraton Beach Fire Station 3 ever since he returned home five months ago. He only meant for it to a stop over before he moved on for bigger and better things. He’s trying to prove he’s a better man than his father who left when he was a boy. Joanna is employed at Beamont Hotel as a marketing strategist, who also employs a lot of Sheraton Beach citizens. She arranges luxury evets, celebrity appearances, and magazine campaigns.

BLAZE is an excellent read. I enjoyed revisiting some of the citizens of Sheraton Beach. The author creates amazing stories about this lovely fictional town. This one is centered around Blaze and Johanna. But the whole town has an invested interest. These two fell in love in high school and the love stood the test of time. Sometime first love is last love. Blaze left town for a few years before returning home. Time and distance did not changed anything between Blaze and Johanna. The chemistry between them is still red hot. A single look at each other is enough to send sparks flying and their temperatures rising. This page-turner has so much laughter, love, passion, and funny scenes you won’t be able to put it down. Kudos to Angie Daniels for a great read.

BLAZE is a must read for fans of Sheraton Beach. This story is the (Bachelors of Sheraton Beach, Book #1). Which means there is more to come. I can’t wait to read Dax story. But if you want to know if Blaze and Johanna made their way back to each other you have to read BLAZE. I can promise you will not be disappointed.
