I started Romance in Color in the late 1990 because I wanted to be highlight romance novels written by authors of color. I remember when we started there were just two African American books published each month. More that twenty years later things have changed significantly.
I wanted Romance in Color to be the premiere site for readers to find out more about authors of color and their books. I wanted to give honest reviews and telling interview. I think that over the years I have done that. One ofmy desires was to make RIC a site without annoying ads.
Romance in Color has been able to fulfil that goal without adertising with funds raised by being an afficiate for Amazon.com, by receiving review copies directly from authors and pubishers and by my own financial contribution.
You can help RIC is three ways:
