REVIEW: THE LAST RULE OF MAKEUPS by best-selling author Nina Crespo is a fantastic book. This is the first time I have read a book by Nina Crespo and she didn’t disappoint me at all with this book. This is the Book #3 in her Breakup Bash Series. I would recommend reading the previous books in the series before starting this book. I will be going back to read THE FIRST RULE OF HOOKUPS and RULES OF A REBOUND. This is the sexy love story of Corinne Ross and Grey Latham
Cori Ross is a chief advisor for angel investors that help small business and Grey Latham is a well-known international DJ. The two also have history together as they once were a couple when they were in college together. The relationship ended when Grey asked Cori to move to Austin with him. Cori and Grey see each other again at Club Escapade where Cori is at the Breakup Bash celebrating her breakup from her ex-boyfriend Kevin. Cori is getting ready to leave when she bumps into Grey. Seeing each other again, have them both thinking of their past relationship and the feelings that they had for one another. Cori and Grey spend a steamy night together after leaving the club. Will the pair get a second chance at love? You will have to read THE LAST RULE OF MAKEUPS to find out.
What I loved about this book was the storyline. Even though, I haven’t read the 1st two books of the series, I wasn’t lost while reading this story. I loved how the story flowed so seamlessly. I felt like I was there experiencing their budding love affair. I also loved all of the characters in this book. The love scenes in this book were so hot, sizzling, and passionate.
Nina Crespo shows us in that we can get a second chance at love. She also shows us that even though we have a bad breakup, there is someone better for us waiting in the wings. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book so much! I couldn’t put my Kindle down.
