REVIEW: Jade Tremaine is one tough cookie. She heads her own California-based PR firm and proudly pitches herself as a professional fixer. She is self-made, but cold and calculated.  Jade’s icy persona is attributed primarily to the lack of nurturing from her frigid parents.

Carter Diallo heads his own security company and holds the unofficial title of Chief Security Officer and “fixer” of the family business, the Diallo Corporation.  Carter is all about the business of keeping his family and the Diallo Corporation out of trouble. His hulking frame and matter of fact demeanor reinforce his low tolerance for drama.

Jade and Carter met in college and became fast friends.  An impromptu moment of passion, a misunderstanding and immaturity separated them for ten years and a need to fix a major problem reunited them.

HER PERFECT PLEASURE is set in Miami, Florida.  Although, Miami is home to both Jade and Carter, they didn’t meet until college in California. In addition to our main characters, others contributing to the story include their respective parents and Carter’s twelve siblings.  Jade is a complex character who is scarred by poor parenting and her attempt to camouflage her problems rather than face them. Carter is a good man who gives too much of himself to others and leaves very little for himself. Their journey to realization reveals how much these two are alike and how much they need each other to be complete.

HER PERFECT PLEASURE is the third installment in Evans’ Miami Strong series about the mega-rich Diallo family.  With ten siblings left, Evans has ample material for future tropical trysts
