REVIEW:  Monica Sutton, Pam Robinson, Renee Williams, and Kim Williams are four women who form the Sisterhood. They are a group of unforgettable, relatable women whose stories shed light on what true friendship really means. I love how author Anita Davis intertwines the lives of these women in their individual books. This series is a tribute to womanhood: the accomplishments, the disappointments, the fortitude, the faith, the joys and the tears. ALL THINGS CONSIDERED is the last book of this five-book series.

ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, the Sisterhood is trying to cope without one of the sisters, Kim. Author Anita Davis masterfully captured the deep hurt that follows the death of a loved one, and how that death affects each person involved. The Sisterhood is tight, but they are not the only ones who are affected. The men who are married to the Sisterhood sisters, that also include the triplet brothers are enmeshed in a “how do I go on” grieving process. The key figure in this story is Renee, Kim’s triplet sister. We pick up her story as she is trying to connect with her son whom she gave up for adoption. Not only does Davis present us with some strong women figures, but she also pens some strong “stand by your side” men. Renee’s love interest, Andrew, is that kind of man. The highlight of this story comes with each character making a choice to live their lives determined to make the best of their futures. In spite of the weighty storyline, the HEA is full of promise and resolution.

The supporting characters are well-developed and instrumental in helping to move the storyline along. Three who really stand out are Renee’s son, Isaiah, her fiancé Andrew, and Dr. Danielle Wyndham, who helped Darius work through his grief. I would be remiss if I did not mention those men who are married to the Sisterhood women- Keith, Monica’s husband, who is also the male triplet to Kim and Renee, and Vance, Pam’s husband. Their presence has a powerful impact on the outcome of the story.

Author Anita Davis has written a captivating series that chronicles the lives of four women. This story,
ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, is the final installment. You can read it as a standalone, but I recommend that you read the complete series. The story structure and character development are solid throughout the series. Enjoy!
