REVIEW: London Drake and Ace Montgomery had a brief encounter years ago. At the time, they were both building their careers and ended up going their separate ways and lost touch with each other. Fast forward eight years. London is now the darling of the runway in the fashion capitals across the world. Ace has a very successful men’s clothing line.  A chance meeting at London’s family wines resort and spa brings them face to face with each other. Once they get past the awkwardness, they discover the burning attraction that first drew them together is still sizzling between them. There’s just one problem.  Ace believes that London is the perfect face to launch his new line of women’s wear. But he also thinks it would be disastrous to have a personal relationship with her and do business at the same time. On the other hand, London doesn’t see it that way. She feels that they can do both. Will Ace and London have their second chance at love or will a dangerous stalker destroy it all?

London is a family member of the fabulously wealthy Drakes of California. Not wanting to go into the family business, this free-spirited fashion model dazzles the runways across the globe. She lives her life the London Drake way. Doing exactly what she wants and not answering to anyone. But she does care about family and wants to make them proud of her accomplishments. Even though those accomplishments are not in the traditional business world.

Ace is a fashion designer on the cutting edge of men’s wear.  He left his budding modeling career to take his talents in a different direction. Ace is an up and coming designer quickly making his way to the top of the fashion industry.  His OTB clothing line has made him famous and his one of a kind designs keep him very much in demand.

LAVISH LOVING is a slam dunk for Zuri Day. She does a good job with characterization in this book. Ace and London are the perfect example of opposites attract. London is the consummate professional and buck wild. She is not afraid to live life to the fullest. She works hard and plays just as hard. Ace works hard but has a quiet demeanor and believes in keeping a lower profile.  The author was dead on putting these two together. London and Ace make a dynamic couple. They’re very personable, loving and their chemistry is off the charts. Their love transcends time and circumstance. It survived several relationships on both sides. An amazing second chance at love. The other characters are just as likeable and noteworthy.

LAVISH LOVING has an excellent storyline and is a great read.  Looking forward to reading more books by this author.
