REVIEW: Olivia Adani and Eli Easton are former colleagues with benefits. But lately Olivia has been avoiding Eli. She is pregnant and Eli has made it clear that he does not want any serious commitments. A baby definitely clarifies as a serious life long commitment. When Eli finds out Olivia knows that he will propose out of obligation and that is the last thing she wants. Because of his tragic past Eli tends to steer clear of relationships of any kind. Every person he has ever loved has been either taken away from him or left him. Therefore, he decided that he must be cursed. Before Eli and Olivia deal with their personal issues, they must neutralize a deadly threat from The New Dawn environmental activist group before more people are hurt.
Olivia is an operative for the Aegis Intelligence Group and former military intelligence officer. After losing her former partner and friend she prefers to work alone. But her present case is too big for one agent so enlist the help of the one person she trusts. Eli is a former air force combat engineer with special forces training. Now he is a private investigator with Ironside Protection Services.
UNDER FIRE IN BIG SKY is an exciting, fast paced, dangerous, explosive page turner. Once again occasional lovers Oliver and Eli are paired together for a high-octane assignment. But this time the two of them have more to lose if things go wrong. Olivia is pregnant and refuses to sit on the sidelines. This is her assignment and he intends to see it through. Therefore, Eli has the added responsibility that Olivia and his baby come to no harm. The author has written a scorching read with great characters and an amazing plot to keep you engaged to the very end. Ms. Rushdan continues to wow us with her writing skills.
UNDER FIRE IN BIG SKY is a fiery action read literally speaking that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Happy reading. And there’s a surprise that you won’t see coming.
