CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE
REVIEW: The pursuit of the Blueprint to destroy Trey Harris’ family designed by the treacherous Dr. Camille is still top priority to Trey, the Black Diamonds, the Uncut Diamonds, and the Heirs. If you recall, Trey accepted the assignment from his late grandfather, Justin Black, to destroy the Blueprint. He, along with his woman, Journey, and his trainer, Jared, has made this a top priority that will be eliminated. In this story, the design is taking shape, and Trey and crew are handling it.
First, the personal relationship between Trey and Journey takes a slight turn when Journey decides that they need to give each other some space. Journey refuses to be another woman “on his list.” Trey is shook; so much that Journey’s announcement sends him to his parents, Trent and Callie, to seek advice. Speaking of personal relationships, the relationship between Trinity and Jared is on, along with Truth and her love affair with Rameses Jr. I love the scene when both Trinity and Truth inform Trent and Callie that they have found the love of their lives. You know Trent is extra.
On the other hand, a mysterious woman is roaming around, and nobody has a clue who she is. Trey is on it, but in the meantime, she becomes another piece of the mysterious events that have to be resolved. Tristan Harrison Balmer, Journey’s ex, is linked to the Blueprint. Not only that, but it is almost certain that people are being recruited who have issues with the Diamonds. That’s a major breakthrough, and it is certainly going to leave more dead bodies in its wake. The investigation into the Blueprint leads to more vials being found on the wrong people, and new discoveries in the form of cubes. Wait until you read about it. It is out-of-this-world high tech that even stuns Trey for a minute! The cubes reveal the “Game Pieces” of this treacherous design. It’s going to blow your mind!
