REVIEW: Who’s next in the wonderful world of love connections by talented writer, Sean D. Young? If you’ve been following this series, and I hope you have, then the next couple to connect is Tina Webb, ballet instructor, and Alex Simmons, attorney. Tina is the sister of Derrick “Spyder” Webb, husband of Sara Simmons (Alex’s sister) from CAUGHT IN HIS WEBB, (Book #2). Sara and Alex are the siblings of Adam Simmons, IN NAME ONLY, (Book #1), who married Tina’s cousin, Cassaundra. Now that you have the connections straight, then you also know that family connections are just as important as love connections. Alex and Tina are not strangers to each other. They are usually paired at family functions when the Webbs and the Simmons’ families get  together. However, Alex has never been at the top of Tina’s list. He can be obnoxious and downright rude.

The story begins with the joyful nuptials of Spyder and Sara, with Tina performing a beautiful ballet tribute to the newly wedded couple to Donnie Hathaway’s classic song, A Song for You. A great scene, and one that captures Alex’s attention to Tina’s surprise. I love how the story progresses as Tina experiences a totally different side of Alex that includes mind-blowing sex. What’s a girl to do? Tina has a real-life problem involving her ballet studio that she needs Alex’s professional expertise to solve. Will he be willing to help her? No tea, readers; you’ll have to read the story. I will say that the more Tina is around Alex, the more she enjoys it, and the same goes for him.  In Chapter 11, the drama that challenges the family’s bonds reaches an uncomfortable leveI. No spoilers. I enjoyed how Ms Young, without being preachy, unfolds the storyline from that section on, always making a point of emphasizing the importance of family, loyalty, and treating people with dignity.

I love the interactions of the minor characters as they contribute to the support, and development of the main characters. Both families, the Webbs and the Simmons, have issues, but family is family—a work in progress. Kudos to the author for a great read. The HEA is wonderful!

I thoroughly enjoyed
THE POINT OF IT ALL. I recommend it for your reading pleasure. As a matter of fact, if you enjoy solid, well-written family stories, the three-book Love Connection Series is a must. You can thank me later.
