ROMANTIC SUSPENSE
REVIEW: Chelsea Harper’s father is in prison for a murder he didn’t commit. It’s been seven years and all of her father’s appeals have been exhausted. Over the years, Chelsea has collected all the paperwork she could to find the real killer. She had to change her last name to avoid being hounded by the press and social media surrounding her father’s incarceration. Now, she needs help to prove her father’s innocence. She hires Travis Collins. He was a rookie when her father was convicted but now Travis works for West Investigations as a PI. At first Travis is skeptical of Franklin Brooks’ innocence but when attempts on Chelsea’s life start happening, he is convinced that the wrong man is behind bars. An attraction is evident when Chelsea and Travis start working together. Travis has built a wall around his heart since losing his family to a tragic accident. He realizes that somewhere along the way Chelsea has penetrated that wall.

Chelsea is a school teacher on summer break. She normally works summer school but decides to investigate the wrongful conviction of her father. She intends to clear her father so he can come home to his family. Travis is a former police officer who was forced to resigned for exposing corruption in the police department. Now he works for West Investigations as a PI.

THE PERFECT MURDER is another thrilling suspense story by this author. Get ready for another ride on the road of danger in pursuit of justice and the truth. The first chapter give you insight into the killer’s mind to get you started. Then there is a lot of drama and plenty of action to keep you entertained throughout the story. The author created two great characters in Chelsea and Travis. She has a talent for putting together relatable characters to pull you in at the beginning. Chelsea and Travis team up to prove a miscarriage of justice has been committed by convicting her father of murder. These two are relentless and work well together. Several murder attempts on their lives do not slow them down in the least. It only makes them work that much harder to find the real killer. Wonderful whodunit.

THE PERFECT MURDER is an excellent read. I thoroughly enjoyed this page turner. There’s nothing like a good murder mystery. Even though you know the outcome after the first read, you want to read it again.
