ROMANTIC SUSPENSE (Inspirational)

REVIEW: SORORITY COLD CASE by best-selling author Jacquelin Thomas is an amazing and suspenseful read! I normally don’t read suspense, but I challenged myself this year to read outside the genres I normally read. Since it’s a Jacquelin Thomas book, I knew I had to read it! This book had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out the ending.

In
SORORITY COLD CASE, we have Detective Charlotte Tesarkee, who goes by Charlie. She had this one case in her career that has haunted her for eleven years and the case went cold without any leads. Charlie now works for the Cold Case Unit. Charlie hasn’t given up on solving this cold case of the college student. Charlie goes to her supervisor to ask if they could use new technology to reopen the cold case of the college student.

Detective Grayson Leigh has just come back to work after being injured in an accident.  The Cold Case Unit has finally agreed to reopen the case but only if Grayson is Charlie’s partner to work on solving it. Charlie and Grayson share a history because of a case that she was working on was reassigned to Grayson. Charlie is hesitant to work with Grayson, but she eventually agrees. As the pair works on the cold case, they become closer as well as find new leads to solve the case. Will they solve this cold case? You will have to read
SORORITY COLD CASE to find out!

What I loved about the book was the storyline and the plot. It had me on the edge of my seat. I had to put my detective skills in play. I also loved how Charlie had some personal issues to work on and it was inspiring to see how it all played out. Grayson was a part of being there for her as well as being a fresh eye for the case. There was romance in the book, and it didn’t take anything away from it at all.

Overall, I enjoyed reading
SORORITY COLD CASE by Jacquelin Thomas. I learned a lot about what it takes for law enforcement to solve a case, especially a cold case. I’m learning that I love a little suspense in my romance. There was some inspiration in this book which I love.

Make sure you grab a copy of
SORORITY COLD CASE.
