REVIEW: We are back in Watima, Kera Asnela, the fictional African kingdom ruled by the Winthropes, the royal family. It’s been two years since the war between Watima, Myriad. There is one member of the house of Myriad who is not imprisoned in cells in Kera Asnela, but under “protective custody” in the Sizwe Palace in Myriad. Princess Izara has always been underestimated by her father and brother. Her intelligence and ability to gather information enables her to acquire knowledge of “The Sovereignty,” a rogue band under the leadership of a figure from the Elite Alliance who threatens the coronation and takeover of the kingdom. Considered to be his enemy, Prince Remington eventually changes his position, and Izara becomes a close confidant. Their relationship morphs again from enemy to confidante to lover. Remington and Izara come together not only as lovers, but also as an alliance that is destined to bring peace to two kingdoms. What a great HFN!
I enjoyed reading this fifth story (Book #5) of the Royals of Kera Asnela Series. The Royals are fierce and savvy leaders who spare no effort in protecting their kingdom, their family and the ones they love. I recommend HIS ROYAL ENEMY for your reading pleasure as well as the other books in this series.
