Review: Fortune On His Doorstep

REVIEW: Kelsey Fortune has always wanted to own her own ranch and now her dream has come true. Unfortunately, because of employment issues she has to fire her foreman and ranch hands. However, there is no way she can run the ranch by herself. She has to hire new help asap. Lucky for her she has family who can lend her help temporarily, but she needs advice and long-term help. On a visit to Emerald Ridge Farmers Market to buy supplies, Kelsey runs into Trevor Porter. Accompanying him is the most adorable triples dressed in identical outfits, crying loud enough to draw the attention of other shoppers. Being dubbed the child whisperer by her family, Kelsey is able to calm them down. Upon further discussion, Trevor and Kelsey make a pact. She will help him with the twins, and he will help her with her ranch.

Kelsey is a Fortune heiress born with a silver spoon in her mouth. She not your average heiress. She loves the outdoors and getting her hands dirty. She runs her own ranch. But Kelsey is not satisfied sitting around watching her workers do all the work. She likes to work alongside them. It’s rewarding for her to know that she is doing her part to make sure the ranch is successful. Trevor is a widow and single father of triplets. He is the CEO of Trevor Cuts, a beef cattle business in Dallas. At the moment he is on full time daddy duty. Even though he loves his nine-month-old triplets, it can be a challenge most of the time. Therefore, he is diligently seeking a live-in nanny who will take over the daily care of his children, which will leave him free to work from home.

FORTUNE ON HIS DOORSTEP is a well written, entertaining, delightful, charming story about two smart, intelligent individuals who agree to help each with a particular problem they have at the moment. Although an instant attraction is evident when they first meet, Kelsey and Trevor readily agree to this arrangement. And then for convenience’s sake, Kelsey invites Trevor and the babies to move into her house. Of course, things heat up in the following days. Love and commitment isn’t far behind. The triplets did their part endearing themselves to the reader. This enthralling page turner is another fabulous read by this author.
