ROMANTIC SUSPENSE
REVIEW: Raquelle Jernigan rushes to the marina to see her brother, but when she arrives all she sees is a big ball of fire as her brother’s boat explodes. She watches in horror and then charges forward to help because she thinks he’s inside. Her ex-husband, Landon Briscoe, grabs her before she gets too close to the fire. She turns her head and realize who is holding her back and wonders what he’s doing here. Raquelle learns that her brother was working as a CI to avoid going to prison for crimes he committed. Landon and Raquelle work together to find Eddie, but they also find out that they still love each other and gave up too soon. They decide to give their marriage a second chance.
Raquelle is an associate theater professor in Joyllis Hills, South Carolina. She loves her jobs. Helping students to reach their potential as actors is so rewarding to her. Landon is an FBI special agent with the Bureau’s Art Crime Team. His career is one where he derives a great deal of pleasure. He loves chasing down art criminals and returning stolen art to its rightful owners.
EXPLOSION AT THE MARINA is an explosive story from the start, literally. It’s another page turner by this talented author. With a great plot, good pacing, and multifaceted character you will enjoy reading about. This story surrounds a CI working with the FBI on the run when his cover is blown. His pontoon blows up and lucky for him he was able to get off before that happened. The search is on to find Eddie Jernigan before the paid assassin does and finish the job he started.
EXPLOSION AT THE MARINA is a fast paced read with a hired assassin in a relentless pursuit of a person who is able to avoid being captured and killed. I recommend this book because it’s entertaining, enjoyable, and it will certainly grab your attention.
