ROMANTIC SUSPENSE
REVIEW: EVIDENCE UNCOVERED by best-selling author Jacquelin Thomas is an amazing read. This book definitely brought me out of my comfort zone where reading is concerned. The author is one of my favorites to read, so I decided to give this book a try. Mrs. Thomas didn’t disappoint me at all. I was hooked from the very beginning until the ending. I was on the edge of my seat while reading this book.
EVIDENCE UNCOVERED tells the inspirational romantic suspense story of Lanier Barrow and Daniel Jordan. Lanier is a FBI agent and Daniel is a lead detective with the New Orleans police department. Lanier is back in her hometown to work on the cold case of the Crescent City Strangler because young women are being killed in the same manner as years ago. A cold case near and dear to Lanier’s heart has her trying to solve the present and past cold cases. Daniel isn’t sure that they needed this agent to come and help him and his partner to solve the cases. Along the way, someone has targeted Lanier so she’s in danger. Lanier and Daniel are also developing feeling for one another. Will they solve the case in time? Will Lanier and Daniel pursue a relationship? You will have to read this book to find out.
What I loved about this book was the storyline because it flowed so well. The plot of the story was amazing. I kept trying to solve the case right along with the characters as I was reading this book. I love how Mrs. Thomas handled the topic of the missing women because it happens in the world today. Another aspect of the book that I loved was that it had romance as well God in it. It was overwhelming and it was inspiring as well.
Overall, I loved reading EVIDENCE UNCOVERED by Jacquelin Thomas. It was an amazing read and it kept me guessing until the very end! I am so happy that I stepped out of my reading comfort zone and read this book. I’m definitely reading another if and when Jacquelin Thomas writes it.
