ROMANTIC SUSPENSE (Inspirational)
REVIEW: COLD CASE DECEIT by best-selling author Jacquelin Thomas is an amazing read. Mrs. Thomas has really brought me out of my reading comfort zone this year. This author is one of my favorite authors to read so I was excited to read this book. As always, Mrs. Thomas didn’t disappoint me at all! I was on my edge of my seat while reading this book.

COLD CASE DECEIT tells the inspirational romantic suspense story of Phillipa Stevenson and Kyle Rossi. Phillipa is the CCU supervisor over the Cold Case Department. She has moved back to home to Charlotte, NC with her eleven year old daughter after divorcing her husband. Kyle is a Detective in the unit that Phillipa is in charge of. They both share a history together as Kyle is the one that broke Phillipa’s heart years ago before they were scheduled to get married. Kyle has asked Phillipa if she will reopen the cold case of his sister-in-law, whose murder has never been solved. Will Phillipa reopen the cold case? Will she forgive Kyle for hurting her heart all those years ago? Will the pair get a second chance at love while solving a cold case? You will have to read COLD CASE DECEIT to find out!

What I loved about the book was the storyline and how well it flowed. The plot of the story definitely kept me interested from the beginning until the very end. It had so many twists and turns as the story went along. I kept trying to solve the case along with the characters. There is some romance in the book as well. I love how Mrs. Thomas focused on the topic of cold cases not being solved as well as the theme of forgiveness. Yes, there was a character in the book that had to learn about forgiveness.

Overall, I enjoyed reading
COLD CASE DECEIT by Jacquelin Thomas. It was an amazing read. I definitely enjoyed every aspect of this book. It has romance, suspense and God’s word in it, which was so inspiring to me. I loved how it kept me guessing until the end. Make sure to grab your copy of this book.
