REVIEW:  I love this time of year in Romancelandia because many authors are gracing us with wonderful stories set during the Christmas holidays. Talented writer, Sean D. Young’s third Clover Creek, a Tennessee story that features Arielle “Ari” Booker and Cedric “Ced” Clark is a perfect example. The whole town is gearing up for the town’s holiday festival that Arielle is spearheading.

Clover Creek is all about everything Christmas, and Arielle is the HWIC (Head Woman In Charge) of Ever After Events. Everything is going as planned and Arielle could not be happier. As she surveys the progress of the festival set-up, she notices that a car drives up, stops, and a familiar figure appears. Cedric Clark, Arielle’s old classmate, and friend is back in Clover Creek after a long absence. What brings him back after he could not wait to get away from his hometown is key to the storyline. Yes, Arielle and Cedric have history, and it does not take long to realize that there is a “quiet attraction” happening with them. However, the question in everyone’s mind who knows Ced is “what brings him back to Clover Creek?” That, my friends, is the heart and soul of his story. It reminds me of the adage, “You can run, but you cannot hide.” I am going to allow you to discover what has brought Cedric back to his hometown to regroup. I will say that it affirms the fact that “Clover Creek has a way of bringing people back.”

I loved revisiting Clover Creek, and the now familiar characters who live there. Mrs. Ida Mae Woods, the wise matriarch of the town, along with Franklin Bennett & Kira Davis Bennett from
SECRETS FROM THE HEART, Book #2. These characters and more are instrumental to the storyline because they are prominent in the development of our lead characters, Ced and Ari.

One of my favorite features of a story is the playlist that some authors infuse into their storyline. You are going to love the music that Ms. Young offers, and that both Arielle and Cedric enjoy. It also helps Cedric through a time of indecision concerning his future. Speaking of the future…it is so bright for Cedric and Arielle, they will need sunglasses.

CHRISTMAS IN CLOVER CREEK is a delightful story wrapped up in the Christmas season. More than that, it tells a story of forgiveness and healing. There is no place like home, and Clover Creek, Tennessee, is the place to be! I recommend CHRISTMAS IN CLOVER CREEK for your reading pleasure.
