SADIA'S FAVORITES
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
· What made you become a writer? I did not set out to become a writer. I suffered a profound loss back in 2020 and soon after the Covid outbreak had me isolated and on a pause. Writing became my coping mechanism.
· Why romance? I have always enjoyed reading romance novels as a teenager. I love happy endings, that feel good feeling! Deep down, I am a hopeless romantic at heart – so I write fantasy.
· Describe a typical day for Sadia. I start my day by connecting with nature; it energizes me. I do early morning beach walks, spend a few minutes meditating – setting my intentions for the day before it gets loud and busy. I work in the field of Human Resources, so there is literally no typical day for me. My work day either goes from one extreme to another or, sometimes, it passes by quietly, where I can actually focus on my to-do list for the day. I do most of my writing on weekends, unless inspiration hits me during the week.
· What, to you, is the most difficult part of the writing process? The most difficult part of writing for me is remaining consistent. There are days where I can’t formulate one sentence, much less write a paragraph. The words just don’t come to mind. When this happens, I tend to take an extended break and try to get back to writing again.
· What do you enjoy doing when you are not writing? Spending time in nature. I always find myself drawn to the beach – and not necessarily because I love to bathe in the sea. I can just sit and watch the water for hours! For some reason being close to water brings me clarity and the ideas start forming in my head. Then I find myself rushing home to write- literally.
· What is the best book you have read in 2025, so far? BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING by Joyce Meyers.
ABOUT THE BOOKS
ABOUT THE READERS
· If there was one thing you could tell your readers about Sadia, what would it be? I am a very humble person with a great sense of humour. I am not sure how far my writing will take me, it is new to me, but I am willing and ready to enjoy every moment of that journey. I am hoping you will come along and enjoy the journey with me as well. Read on!
· What advice would you give to an aspiring author? Even when you do not feel like it, write! Persistence will get you to write but Consistency is what will ensure that you keep writing. So be Persistent and Consistent at all times. Find your inspiration and let that be your guide! Inspiration does not come the same way for us all, make sure you listen to that silent voice from within. It’s where my best ideas come from and hoping you can discover yours as well.
· How can readers reach you?
