REVIEW: THE SWEETEST LOVE by Suzette Riddick is an amazing and fantastic book! This addition to The Love Conquers All Series was so amazing that I couldn’t put my kindle down until I finished reading the book. I would recommend also reading the first four books in the series so that you will become familiar with the characters. The titles of the books are A SPECIAL SUMMER, WHEN LOVE COMES AROUND, KEY TO MY HEART, and SECOND CHANCE AT LOVE. THE SWEETEST LOVE tells the emotional and poignant love story of Roxanna “Roxy” Harris and Adam West.
Roxy is an accountant and Adam is a lawyer. The two have known each other since they were younger because Roxy was best friends with Adam’s sister Abigail until something happens. Roxy has avoided Adam for years because of the way he treated her when they were younger. Roxy and Adam see each other again for the first time when she goes to visit Adam and Abigail’s parents. She is surprised when Adam opens the door because over the years, she has avoided him. Adam is just as surprised to see Roxy as he has often wondered about her over the years.
Roxy and Adam see each other a few more times and they are both attracted to each other. They both decide to start dating and seeing each other. Along the way, some life changing events happen to Roxy. Will Roxy and Adam declare their love for one another? Will Roxy and Adam get their happy ever after? You will have to read the book to find what happens next!
Ms. Riddick did an amazing job with THE SWEETEST LOVE! I’m still feeling the effects of reading such an amazing book! The storyline and the plot were well-written, and it flowed so seamlessly. The love scenes were so sizzling and smoldering hot! THE SWEETEST LOVE had so much drama that it kept me so engaged from the beginning to the ending of the book!
What I loved about this book was the characters. Roxy just touched my heart to the point that I was cheering her on! I absolutely fell in love with Roxy’s mom and Adam’s parents! They had me laughing and plus they gave some nuggets of wisdom. I enjoyed catching up the characters from the previous books in this series, especially Starr and Karen!
Overall, I enjoyed reading THE SWEETEST LOVE! I am sad that this is the last book of the Love Conquers All Series! Hopefully, Ms. Riddick will decide to do an update about all of the characters.
