REVIEW: Next up in the Women of Park Manor Series is the one and only Burgandy Anderson, the very efficient Leasing Manager of Park Manor. Burgandy is the best! She is quite adept at her job, yet ironically after the story begins, she is fired from her job after six years. I’ll let you discover the reason why. The continuity of events in this series is on point. The Prologue (like the other two books in this five-book series that I’ve read) opens the story with the women at a memorial service for the deceased doorman of Park Manor, Buddy. It’s a great starting point for each book that serves as a great connection. It’s apparent that Burgandy does not particularly like Buddy, but she joins the others at his memorial comparing it to “getting ten painful Brazilian waxes”.

I love Burgandy’s sassy and caring character, and ironically fate brings her to her perfect match, Kane Brooks, Landscape Artist. Of all the places in the world, Burgandy and Kane meet in Iceland. Who vacations in Iceland? You are in for a treat as talented author Sherelle Green craftily reveals Burgandy and Kane’s first encounter through flashbacks. Kane certainly has his work cut out for him as he refuses to allow Burgandy to try to undo what’s already in the stars for them.  I like this passionate, millennial couple who have very intriguing back stories, and ultimately a bright future together.

The stand-out side characters are Burgandy’s Aunt Rach and Buddy, in absentia. You’ll get that when you read the story. The HEA is wonderful!

I love a well-developed Novella, and
HER UNDENIABLE DISTRACTION is just that. I recommend it, as well as the other books in this series.
