REVIEW: Nadia Jordon and Grayson Chandler come from two different worlds. During the blackout in Chicago, none of that matters. They are kindred spirits in the dark who made a life-changing connection in one night. And of course, what happens in the dark rarely stays there. Nadia and Chandler embark upon a journey that takes them on a path they never expect. When Chandler asks Nadia to pretend to be his fiancé to get his meddling mother off his back, she agrees to his price to help her brother attend Yale. But along the way, something amazing happens. The billionaire falls in love with the pauper from the wrong side of the tracks.  And as the saying goes, the rest is history.

Nadia is a kind-hearted person who left her hometown to escape a past, not of her making. She dropped out of school and took on the responsibility of raising her brother since her mom was unfit to do so. She doesn’t regret it and would do it again to give her brother a chance in life. Grayson was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. But sometimes that spoon will choke you when family responsibilities are thrust upon you. Grayson has found an outlet with his own company, and he has no intention of giving it up.

What happens when you cast two broken souls together? You get a fairy tale romance like
BLAME IT ON THE BILLIONAIRE.  Ms. Simone has done it again!  She has taken two people from different walks of life to forge a happy medium.  The characters are likable and believable. The pacing is excellent, and the story is so compelling you don’t want to put it down. Nadia and Grayson had built a wall around their hearts after being deceived by people who pretended to love them. The devastation nearly broke them, but they survived it. This wonderful love story will capture the romantic in you and take you on a journey of self-discovery for two people who come to realize that they are still worthy of being loved. Kudos to the author for a well-written story!
