REVIEW: The bright lights of Hollywood and celebrity status can be exciting, but it can also be deceptive. Relationships can be disappointing and exhausting. Kendall Chandler and Tyson Blackwell, having been burned by their ex’s, had experienced both. By the time meet, they have a somewhat jaded view of love and relationships. Their attraction is instant, but Kendall and Tyson have decided to put their love lives on the shelf for now and concentrate on their careers.  Being in the spotlight is not something they want to experience anytime soon. You know what they say about best-laid plans. Tyson and Kendall try being friends, but no matter how hard they try, it doesn’t work. When Tyson whisked Kendall away to his Montana home for a weekend of rest and relaxation, it becomes a game-changer. Although leery of being in the spotlight again, they throw caution to the wind and begin a secret affair.

Kendall is a recording artist who wants to add actress to her impressive singing career. She is very focused and grounded and doesn’t indulge in wild partying and other activities that befall some celebrities. When she’s not working, she can be found at home doing ordinary things and enjoying the peace and quiet. Tyson is a movie producer and soon to be CEO of Blackwell Communications Group.  He doesn’t like the attention his position warrants. Unfortunately, it comes with the territory. After a long day in the office, he likes nothing better than to retire at home with a glass of wine and let the stress of the day float away.

SEALED WITH A KISS reflects a very believable and realistic view of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and the celebrity lifestyle. In a world where love and commitment are not always popular, Tyson and Kendall struggle to make their relationship work. Ms. Night does a good job with the depiction of the characters and the ups and downs of living life in the headlines. The author’s excellent writing displays the shallowness of some actors, whereas others are grounded and not affected by their celebrity status. Tyson and Kendall fall into the latter category, and it makes for good reading. The story also sends the message that two people with very busy careers can have it all if they want it bad enough. This must-read is well-written has a good plot and pacing that adds to the core of the story.
