REVIEW: ALWAYS presents the story of the third Lassiter sister, Sedona, and Mt Pleasance, North Carolina’s Veterinarian, Dr. Keith Fremont. The heroine and hero are both battling with that age-old dilemma of letting go of past hurts, doubts, and picking up the pieces to move on.

Despite the instantaneous attraction between Sadona and Keith, they are reluctant to enter into a relationship because of the devastating relationships with their exes. Could they perhaps be friends? As a matter of fact, Keith’s best friend, Craven, along with Sadona’s two sisters, Rana and Gadiya, make that suggestion. You’ll find out how that goes when you read the story. I like the chemistry between Sadona and Keith. Author,
Joy Avery, nails those love scenes! The critical point in the story comes with Keith making a poignant confession to Sadona about a devastating circumstance that ended tragically. It is quite a denouement. Kudos to the author.

I love being reunited with the other two Lassiter sisters, Rana and Gadiya, and their spouses. A good series will always display continuity between characters, and this one does just that. Speaking of a good series, this one does not disappoint. Each sister has her own story.
NEVER, Book 1, features Gadiya, and MAYBE, Book 2, features Rana. The Epilogue will appeal to all Romance junkies with its wonderful HEA.

ALWAYS can be read as a stand alone, but I strongly suggest that you read the entire series. Although this story features the last Lassiter sister, there will be more stories, according to the author, set in Mt. Pleasance, North Carolina. I enjoyed this novella, and I recommend it. It’s a fast read, but the characters and storyline are well developed.
