REVIEW: Kamaya Boudreaux is a member of the close-knit Boudreaux family of Louisiana.  She’s the wild child in the group. Her family worries about her because she is the last remaining sibling who is not married and doesn’t appear to have any prospects. Kamaya is not looking for a long-term relationship nor does she see the point in it. Besides, she is so busy running her adult businesses. Kamaya family is unaware of her type of business and she plans to keep it that way.  She is afraid they might not approve. She meets a kindred spirit in Wesley Walters, her partner in an exclusive male strip club. Both are keeping the nature of their business from their families. A passionate affair between Kamaya and Wesley changes the terms of their association. They both have to be honest about the secret they’ve been keeping. When the unthinkable happens, will they lose the respect of their families or will they find out how strong their family bonds are?

Kamaya is strong-willed, independent and making quite the name for herself in the business world. A savvy business woman who made it on her own without the help of her very powerful family. A strong, confident woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it. The fact that she built a successful business is testament to that.

Wesley is a former exotic dancer who made a ton of money doing his college days.  Although his skills as a dancer afforded him a lucrative income, he plans to keep that part of his life a secret. These days, he is on the fast track to success as a franchise nightclub owner featuring exotic dancers. With one successful club under his belt, Wesley’s plan is to open male strip clubs all across the country.

A PLEASING TEMPTATION is another winner for DEBORAH FLETCHER MELLO. I love reading about the Boudreaux family and this book is now one of my favorites. Kamaya and Wesley are like two-halves of a whole. Talk about two people made for each other. I like the fact that the characters are taking a walk on the wild side. Such a refreshing change from the norm. And the passion between Kamaya and Wesley is off the charts!  The author did an amazing job in crafting their characters and their personalities.  Kamaya is a complex little spit-fire who does exactly what she wants.  Wesley has a calmer spirit and the perfect man to tame the headstrong beauty.  They are two like-minded people who realized they had a lot in common and decided to take a chance on love.  We also got a chance to revisit the characters from the author previous books involving the Boudreaux family.  Updates are wonderful. It was nice to hear what the other characters are doing now. Especially Senior and Ms. Katherine, the head of the Boudreaux clan.  Kudos to the author for an excellent read. Will Paxton get his own story?  I would love to see what happens with him.
