REVIEW:  Farrah Blake and Robert Gold play a game that goes too far.  After intentionally losing a gambling bet in Las Vegas, they willingly complete the dare which requires them to get married … to each other.

Farrah is an attorney defending a case against her family’s multimillion dollar security company.  She is the second of the ambitious Blake triplets.  Robert Gold is head of field security for Farrah’s family’s company and renown playboy with a well-known phobia of commitment. Their flirtatious relationship escalates into something Farrah abhors and Robert contemplates favorably. When clearer heads prevail, Farrah decides that a quickie divorce is the only solution to their “situation” which must be kept a secret.

SEDUCING THE HEIRESS story is set primarily in Houston, Texas. In addition to our main characters, Farrah’s two sisters Francine and Felicia compliment the story.  Robert’s foster mother, Momma Penny, is the most delightful character in the novel.

I wanted to like this novel, but the choppy storyline is coupled with a confusing subplot that unnecessarily prolongs this story.  Kennerson’s easy writing style deserves better execution. This is an interracial romance, but I didn’t realize it until almost half-way through the novel. This is the second installment in The Blake Sisters trilogy. Hints of the storyline for Felicia’s story sound promising. I hope the storyline is better executed to complement Kennerson’s relaxed writing style.
