REVIEW: Candace Shaw, in the first novella of The Precious Moments Series, transports the reader from that familiar setting of her earlier novels, Memphis, Tennessee to St. Simons Island, Georgia where the heroine and hero, Zaria Richardson and Dr. Garrett Braxton meet again after a separation of a year. It’s a great setting for a romantic tryst and more. If a lot of the names sound familiar to you at the beginning of the novella, it’s because they are friends and members of the Arrington Family Series. This is a wonderful spin-off feature of this novella because we are once again reconnected to those characters who supplied us with great love stories of their own.

From the Prologue, the reader is privy to the fact that Zaria and Garrett are both engaged in steamy ‘secret’ rendezvous hook-ups. Zaria likes it that way; Garrett, not so much. This ‘sex only relationship’ has Garrett wanting to change their status from the occasional sex hook-up to an exclusive love relationship. Zaria is reluctant, and her reluctance goes to another level when Garrett reveals some shocking news. No spoilers here, but Garrett’s news slightly changes the dynamics of their relationship. The storyline moves quickly without any additional subplots. The Epilogue is a treat, and it will bring a smile to all my fellow romance addicts who love the Happy Ever Happy ending.

FOR THE LOVE OF YOU is a sweet romantic novella. I enjoyed it and I ‘m sure you will, too.
