SYNOPSIS: After a nasty divorce, Maitlyn Boudreaux is ready to reclaim her sensuality and rediscover her inner wild child. A luxury cruise to exotic ports of call is just what the New Orleans negotiator needs…and meeting Zak Sayed on board could be an added bonus. The high-stakes poker player wants the same thing she does: a sizzling hot fling with no strings attached.

REVIEW:  Cydney “Cyd” Rayne is used to doing things her way, so she sneaks away from her friends during a vacation in Anguilla, for a little island romance with a handsome stranger. FBI Agent Shawn Miles can’t forget the woman he met in Anguilla, but he can’t dwell on the fact, because he’s in the midst of an important case. Shawn and Cydney rekindle their romance during the wedding reception of her sister, Imani, who married Daman Barker, Shawn’s friend. Their paths cross again, while Shawn is working undercover for the Peter Vallant Company, which has hired Elite Events, Inc., Cydney’s company, to plan a series of customer appreciation events, across the Midwest.

IF ONLY FOR TONIGHT originates in Anguilla, then moves to various places in Illinois and Indiana. Cydney is independent, hard-headed and stubborn. Her behavior is somewhat childish at times, as she flirts with other men, in an attempt to make Shawn jealous. Shawn makes her behavior worse by pursuing, and then ignoring her, while trying to solve his case. The secondary cast of family, friends and enemies, helps to make this story interesting. Family and friends are always there to give the characters advice, while the enemies they don’t know are busy injecting a little intrigue.

IF ONLY FOR TONIGHT is the second installment in the “An Elite Event” series, and is a nice addition to the series. This series gets better by the book, and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Green comes up with next.
