SERIES ROMANCE |4| Keren Childers

REVIEW:  Media coach Trina Powers loves grooming high-profile clients for superstardom. And signing businessman-turned-politician Dwayne Hunter could really launch her agency into the big time. Dwayne has the typical politician arrogant attitude, but Trina knows she has her work cut out to soften his harsh edges. Can the lies and deceit of the political world destroy both their lives, or will their feelings for each other out way the bad.

Ms. Bunkley introduces two determined, educated characters that each has their own agenda in becoming successful. Trina is a media coach who is smart, gorgeous looking and has built her business from the ground up, despite a disaster that nearly destroyed her. Dwayne is an arrogant, but honest politician that thinks he can talk his way in and out of anything. He’s popular, charming and eye candy, so who wouldn’t want a man like this to represent them. The stories about politics are so true in this story. You trust people to represent you and sometimes they get sidetracked by all the fame, wealth and connections they can achieve. So who can you trust?

The plot really thickens in this novel. It kept you entertained throughout the story and you found yourself wondering what will happen next. The setting fit perfect for scenes at hand. It gave you a good overview of what a schedule is like campaigning. The secondary characters connected well with the story and gave it the twists that made the book stimulating. There were a few scenes that I felt needed to be played out more, especially the incident with Trina at the bank.

Overall, Ms. Bunkley did a very good job. I would definitely recommend reading
VOTE FOR LOVE.
