SYNOPSIS:  Three saved but sexy and successful black women go on a hilarious adventure to be found by their husbands, in this lively novel.

INSPIRATIONAL FICTION |4+| Shawneda Marks

REVIEW: Angela is a sweet, shy and quiet good girl. Forty one and suffering from a slight case of insecurity she’s afraid her nerdy cuteness is not enough to snag a man. Scared she’ll die a virgin she joins her girlfriends Michelle and Lisa in their pursuit of being found.

Lisa is over thirty and over being single. Unfortunately her perfect man list is over critical. In denial about her impossible requirements she risks the possibility of her husband being overlooked.

Michelle turns thirty five and realizes life is not what it’s supposed to be. Despite having a great career and caring friends she still wants more. Her love life has no prospects and a flurry of comedic encounters has her wondering if her dream of motherhood and commitment will ever be realized.

Vanessa and Nicole are polar opposite who round out this circle of sistah girl friends. Vanessa offers her professional and personal experience to guide these three women through the murky waters of Christian dating. Nicole dishes a blunt dose of love and advice guaranteed to force the ladies to keep it real.

THE LIST is a strong romance with all the classic plot requirements to keep the reader turning the pages for more. The dialogue and description are authentic. The setting draws you in and makes you feel a part of the rich Atlanta culture. Each character is developed to be well rounded individuals with distinct quirks and personalities. It took me less than forty eight hours to devour all the goodies laid out on this table of literary delight.
