SERIES ROMANCE |4| Marguerite Lemons

REVIEW:  Michelle “Mitch” Coleman is the best mechanic in Dallas, and would be suitors show up at her garage regularly hoping to become “the one”. Mark Stallion is a millionaire bad-boy who enjoys fast women and racing motorcycles. Mark takes his motorcycle to Mitch to have it checked on the recommendation of his brother prior to his annual biking vacation to South Carolina. He is surprised to find that the highly respected mechanic is a very attractive female, and is even more impressed with her knowledge and expertise. Mitch is surprised to discover that Mark is interested in her. Their attraction is magnetic and the couple begins explore the possibilities of a relationship unaware that a predator is out to destroy them by any means necessary.

Mitch is smart, loyal, independent but afraid to allow any man to get close enough to break her heart. This character’s unconventional career seems to give her an edginess and cockiness that you don’t normally see. Mark is the ‘love em' and 'leave ’em type’ until Mitch throws him off his game. Seeing the male character taking the initial blows to his ego and how he seeks the counsel of his family and friends to help him rebound was interesting. Both characters are admittedly confused by the intensity of their feelings and the vulnerability it creates. However, they eventually learn to trust and communicate with each other as their relationship evolves.

TAME A WILD STALLION is the second book in the Stallion series. It is a moderately paced story with an interesting twist, set in and around the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. The supporting characters are encouraging, while providing a little comic relief to go along with the mayhem at the race track.

Ms. Mello has written an entertaining page turner. I can’t wait to read the next brother's story.
