REVIEW:  Solange Washington is a farm girl who just wants a better life.  She’s lost her parents, broken up with her boyfriend and is ready for a change.  Taking the job in San Antonio as Crandall Thorne’s personal assistant gives her this opportunity.  Solange is vibrant, full of passion, but don’t underestimate her she is no naïve, pushover.  Dane on the other hand is tough, upfront brotha who shops around and has the reputation to back it up.  He never dreams of running into someone that can give him a taste of his own medicine.  These two are running away from the same thing and fortunately it catches up with them. It’s called love.

Ms. Smith enlightens us with another book in the Affair series.  I tell you each story gets more intense then the one before.  She definitely connects these two characters well.  Solange is a strong-willed person that I enjoyed seeing take charge of her life.  Dane is virile and women would love to get with him.  The storyline was so on point that I had a hard time putting this book down.  The characters connected very well, the plot is so invigorating that it carried on until the very last page.  The love scenes are sizzling hot and intoxicating (I wanted to take notes).  The passion between the two was phenomenal.  Crandall Thorne and the infamous Tessa Philbin are back and together the two create havoc.  Crandall runs the show and doesn’t bite his tongue at all.  But behind every man’s actions is a woman, and she’s it.  I enjoyed the reappearance of Caleb, Daniela, Noah, and Riley.  They definitely gave the story an added twist.

A RISKY AFFAIR is a must read.  I definitely suggest reading the series from the beginning.  Read A LEGAL AFFAIR, A GUILTY AFFAIR, and then this book.  Believe me you won’t be disappointed.  Bravo, Ms. Smith you did well.
