REVIEW:  Every writer has a "book of her heart" that she longs to write and for author Loure' Bussey, that book is her debut mainstream novel, A FEELING LIKE NO OTHER. A book of the heart refers to a book that the author feels and desperately wants to write, but cannot until she has enough writing experience behind her to pull it off. That book is in her head, but her hands cannot make it happen-- until she builds up her writing chops. After having written nine romance novels, Bussey, indeed, has the wherewithal to write this novel and it's quite impressive.

Sierra Harper is a beautiful, talented young woman who wants to sing professionally more than anything. Unfortunately, she has big-time issues and she winds up searching for love in all the wrong places.

Enters Eldridge Blackwood, the smooth-talking restaurateur who dangles everything she wants in front of her like proverbial carrots. In one fell swoop, she has a fly day job, a bevy of music industry contacts, and the love she has desperately longed for when Eldridge expertly romances her. But as the old adage says, all that glitters is not gold--as she soon finds out.

She performs at a hot club one evening and her performance mesmerizes two men who fall head over heels in love with her, but they happen to be best friends!

A FEELING LIKE NO OTHER is rife with betrayal, passion, secrets and drama--the stuff that good novels are made of. This one is most assuredly just that and is excellent in every way. This novel is packed with a well thought out plot that moves quickly and is sure to keep readers riveted to their seats. The characters are so lush, so life-like that they'll seem like people in any reader's immediate sphere of knowledge. The settings are interesting and glamorous. Although Meadow Park is fictitious, it's depicted as a place where anyone would long to go for peaceful living and old-fashioned fun.

This novel is the height of conflict and drama and is full of great sub-plots that will keep readers reading and never wanting to stop until the end. A FEELING LIKE NO OTHER marks Bussey's successful transition from romance author to a gifted author of women's fiction and one thing is for sure, bibliophiles will be hearing her name on the everyone's lips in major literary circles. Based on this most auspicious debut, Loure' Bussey, mainstream novelist, is destined to go far!
