REVIEW: TWINS FOR THE HOLIDAYS by best-selling author Jacquelin Thomas is an amazing and heartwarming read. This is the Book #5 in her popular Polk Island Series. I would highly recommend reading the first four books in the series so that you will be familiar with the characters. The titles are A FAMILY FOR THE FIREFIGHTER, HER HOMETOWN HERO, HER MARINE HERO and HIS PARTNERSHIP PROPOSAL. When reading one of Mrs. Thomas books, I know I’m going to get a heartwarming and emotional story. She does not disappoint with this new story.
In TWINS FOR THE HOLIDAYS, we are returning to Polk Island. Rayne Rothchild has returned home after having twins to mend fences with her family. Rayne also had an unforgettable night in Vegas which resulted in her getting married and leaving her husband, who was her boss, Taylor Carrington. Taylor had been lost and wondering why Rayne left so suddenly. He did not have the best childhood growing up and he feels rejected by Rayne because of what happened that night in Vegas. Taylor decides that he needs answers, so he sets out to find Rayne. When he finds Rayne on Polk Island, he gets the surprise of his life. You will have to read the book to find out all that happens.
What I loved about the book was the setting around the Christmas holiday. I love a good holiday book. I also loved the storyline as it flowed so well. I didn’t feel lost, and I felt like I was in Polk Island. TWINS FOR THE HOLIDAYS had so much love as well as some family drama. Mrs. Thomas’s message in this book was one of forgiveness and love.
Overall, I loved reading TWINS FOR THE HOLIDAYS. She’s one of my favorite authors. I love how her books have a message, lesson, and blessing inside. I can always relate to something that she has written. Make sure to grab a copy of this amazing read!
