REVIEW: This is the second book that I’ve read in the Men For Hire series, and I must admit it’s a great read. Talented author, Reese Ryan, introduces us to Amaya “Mye” Walker Peters, a divorcee and executive creative director for a record company. We also get an in-depth look at John Edward Thomas, aka Jet. Jet is best bud with Montez Ross (BOYFRIEND FOR HIRE, Delaney Diamond) and Drevon Ross (FIANCE’ FOR HIRE, Sharon C. Cooper). Jet is employed as a landscape designer with At Your Service, a unique and successful company that provides clients with dates, as well as handyman services. It is owned by Montez’s mother and Dre’s aunt, Viola Ross.

When Amaya hires a landscaper for her property, the last person she expects to show up at her door is Jet. You see, they knew each other in high school. I’ll allow you to discover their relationship back-in-the-day. As they renew their friendship, things happen, misunderstandings are ironed-out, and they begin to see each other in a different light. I like this couple’s love journey because it takes them back to a place where it all started. It’s karma at its best! No spoilers. I’ll allow you discover what all that means.

The side characters are instrumental in adding to the intrigue of this story and the development of the main characters. Two that stand out are Amaya’s brother, Malik and Rocky, Jet’s dog. I love how Malik’s character is presented in this story. For our couple, Jet and Amaya, their HFN begins on a steamy note supplied by D’Angelo’s Voodoo. You’ll get that when you read the story.

DATE FOR HIRE is an entertaining read that is part of a dynamic series by three dynamic authors, and you can read them in any order. I recommend this story, DATE FOR HIRE, and the other two stories in the Men For Hire series for your reading pleasure.
