REVIEW: A GAME OF SECRETS by best-selling author Zuri Day is an amazing and wonderful read. This is the Book #4 in The Eddington Heirs Series. I would highly recommend that you read the first three books in the series so that you will be familiar with the characters. The books in the series are: INCONVENIENT ATTRACTION, THE NANNY GAME, and TWO RIVALS, ONE BED. As always, I couldn’t put this book down until I finished it. With a Zuri Day book, I know I’m going to get romance, love and drama.
A GAME OF SECRETS tells the romance story of Sasha McDowell and Jake Eddington. The two know each other because Jake is Sasha’s brother best friend. Sasha has just broken up with her fiancé and she wants to explore her sexual side without her family around. When Reign, who is Jake’s sister tells Sasha about the HalloMask, a masquerade ball, Sasha makes plans to go and be free where no one knows her family. Jake is drawn to Sasha when he first sees her at the party, but he doesn’t know who she is because they are in costume. They spend a passionate encounter together at the party. The next day, they see each other again when Sasha and her godmother attend a gathering at the Eddington’s estate. When Jake hears Sasha speak and looks into her eyes at the table, he makes the connection that she is the tigress with whom he shared the passionate encounter. What will Jake do and how will Sasha handle it? Will they make a love connection? You will have to read A GAME OF SECRETS to find out!
What I loved about this book was the storyline and the plot. Ms. Day had me hooked from the first chapter. It was so intriguing and had me reading to see what happened next. The storyline and plot definitely fit the story as it was being told. I also loved the family and friends aspect as well. This was a forbidden love story and I was here for it all. It had plenty of romance and drama. Ms. Day knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat and engaged.
Overall, I enjoyed reading A GAME OF SECRETS by Zuri Day. I cannot wait to see where Ms. Day takes this series to next! This book gave me all the feels. Make sure to grab your copy of this amazing book.
