REVIEW: PUT YOUR NAME ON IT, Angie Daniels’ latest episode in her Decadent Delight series, is a welcomed addition. It’s been two years since the last installment and the sexy men of RDH Construction are still decadent delights!  Reggie, Trey, Braxton, Maximilian and Dereon are RDH Construction and some of the finest men to ever pound a hammer. The first three parts of this series center on Reggie Hodges, owner of RDH, (Parts 1 & 3) and Dereon Sanders (Part 2). This installment is the story of Maximilian “Max” James and his pursuit of Claudia Winters.

Max is a sexy multi-talented alpha male. As a product of the foster care system, he turns this disadvantage into an advantage by earning a college degree and using skills he learned as a handy-man to buy and flip houses. If this isn’t enough, the sensitive side of this alpha male “dabbles” in songwriting for a number of major recording artists. He carries deep emotional scars from being abandoned and vows to never desert his own children.  With all his attributes, Max is justifiably popular with the ladies, but he is only interested in one woman - the obstinate Claudia Winters.

Claudia Winters is fiercely independent and co-owner of one of the hottest catering companies in St. Louis. She recently purchased her first home after giving up the dream of doing so with a husband. For Claudia, these two achievements confirm that she doesn’t need a man in her life to succeed. Claudia appears to have it going on; however, secretly, she is waging a losing battle with her traitorous libido. Her fierce attraction to Max is wearing down her resistance and it doesn’t help that he is persistent in his pursuit. He has all the qualities Claudia requires in a perfect mate, but, he comes with an unwelcomed bonus … baby mama drama. Claudia is adamant, she has no time for baby mama drama. Therefore, she does all she can, including revisiting a past relationship, to ignore her attraction to Max and commit to a relationship.

A brief liaison with a past acquaintance has Max snarled in a nightmarish scenario of “who’s the daddy”. The manipulative mother-to-be refuses a paternity test until after delivery and Max is determined to support her and adhere to his vow not to desert his child or potential child even if they aren’t in a relationship. Claudia and Max are deadlocked - Max will not abandon his child and Claudia states “holla at me after you get the paternity test results.”

PUT YOUR NAME ON IT, Daniels delivers a sweet and humorous love story that is mired in a very poignant social issue that requires Max and Claudia to examine their moral principles.  Other characters impacting this story include Max's coworkers at RDH Construction, Claudia's best friend Christine, Claudia's parents and Parker the classic "baby mama".  I've enjoyed this series and recommend you sample these sexy decadent delights.  This novel can stand alone, but treat your sweet tooth and indulge in Parts 1, 2 and 3.  You can thank me later.
